Feeling the Buzz

I had an aunt whose front door was painted red. The color made the whole house special. It just worked. And every time I walked through that red door, I felt a buzz. The first time it happened, I was 8-years old.

I felt the same way as an older kid when I made a cool design with my Spirograph and when I painted watercolors in my room as a teenager. I felt the same way as a college student when I made my first campaign as an advertising/design major at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
